Remixed & Remastered

Hey folks,

So I’m working on a film/tv project that I can’t tell you much about; ya, the one I’ve been cryptically telling you about for like a month now. And I’m not trying to be mysterious…I literally can’t tell you about it until it drops. Plus I always think I’m good at being mysterious, and I am not. But for this project, I had some new mastering done to the tracks because I wanted them to be really good. And I liked them so much, that I decided to have Collections II and Our Dreams are Made of Rain remastered as well.

I’m very pleasantly surprised with how they turned out, and feel as if this is closer to my original vision for these melodies and atmospheres. So starting tonight at midnight, both these albums go free, for 24(ish) hours. Maybe more. Because I would like all of you who enjoy this music and bought the original albums, to be able to have the new editions for free. Each track is remixed and remastered, and while still retaining that darker recorded feel that I am fond of, they now stand out and grab you just a bit more. The download links are the same, but every track has been replaced.

Collections II…Ambient Music for Free

Hey everyone!

Collections II (album cover)

This past December, I made all my music free for the whole month. I was blown away by the amount of you who still paid for it, and paid above and beyond for it. Half of the proceeds of whatever you did pay going to help a homeless charity in Santa Monica.

So to say thank you, I promised that my next project would start off free. And it’s here. Collections II is the new EP, with work that I am really proud of. It’s a bit of a departure and more experimental than I’ve released before, led off by a 38-minute track comprised of three improvisational guitar takes layered on top of each other.

Thank you all for your continued support, and I hope this music says thanks in a small way. If you would, you can say thanks to me by following me on Twitter and liking my Facebook Page. This really helps my career, and helps me keep producing music. And anyone who is following me there learned about this EP a few days early, too. Thanks everyone!

Back to Music

So let’s do this. Can’t wait to share some new projects; in the meantime, if you guys could share my Facebook Page, that would be splendid. For every share one of posts gets, I post a free download code there for one of my latest albums. For every new Page like I get, I post two download codes…one for you, and one for the person you told to like the Page. 😉

Like My Page for free download codes here.

Thanks, all!

Christmas Music

Happy December 1st! I have ambient (or post-rock without the drums, new age with guitars, one note with delay pedals, etc.) Christmas music for you.

  • Each December, I release ‘The World in Green & Red‘, an ambient EP that has new songs on it each Christmas. So it’s out! It will be available until New Year’s Day.
  • Also, to say merry Christmas, both albums of ambient pads are free this month to support all churches and non-profits this holiday season.
  • And lastly, out of all sales for the month of December, half goes to families in need.

New Song, New Story, New Artform & a Thank You

New project available for free download! This is a thank you to everyone who has been so supportive over the last couple months as I’ve start off on this music venture. The project is something a little bit new, and as such, I’m not sure whether it will catch on. But it’s both a short story e-book, as well as an mp3 soundtrack written specifically for the story. The idea would be that you read and listen to both at the same time, with a good pair of headphones, and get taken to some other place. Neither the story nor the song were meant to stand alone; they were written together as one piece.

So we’ll see where this goes, or doesn’t go. But in the meantime, it’s free! So check out these promo videos for it, and then download it below if you like, as a thank you for the support for the music and the recent album.

The first promo here is the full song, with pieces of the short story appearing from time to time. The second is mostly me improvising some melodic ideas that became the structure for the soundtrack; that one’s for you guitar folk out there.
